FOR UON STUDENTS ONLY We are excited to announce a NEW cross-sector employability event, taking place during the University-wide Changing Futures Week. The event is aimed at first and second-year students within the Faculty of Arts, Science, and Technology (FAST).
This day allows students to participate in a series of development activities and hear from guest speakers, culminating in the planning and presenting of a live project brief. The event is designed to support students in gaining extensive employability skills and networking opportunities within the Arts, Heritage, and Cultural Sector. By participating, you will experience real-world scenarios that align with their academic learning and prepare them for future careers.
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Build professional relationships and collaborate effectively in teams that straddle the Creative, Technological and Cultural sectors.
- Develop their ability to persuade, influence, and negotiate by presenting ideas and concepts to peers and a wider audience.
- Enhance their communication skills by engaging with various audiences using various tools and strategies.
You will win Amazon vouchers and refreshments, which are provided free of charge!
