We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Field Sales Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will work across a geographical territory to maximise revenue, share, and profit through winning large orders and securing new business. The area you will likely cover will be South Wales, the Midlands and Oxfordshire.
This role will be a remote field-based role. From time to time, there will be a requirement to visit our Avonmouth Office and possibly a supplier visit outside your area.
Key Accountabilities:
- Achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Arrange and attend site-level meetings, maximising growth and share of wallet.
- Deliver the required KPIs and service levels.
- Plan prior to each meeting, setting clear objectives.
- Maintain and provide accurate reporting of weekly and monthly activity.
- Account Manage an account book of Key Account sites.
- Seek and convert larger opportunities in the geographical area
- Work closely withthe Key Accounts dept and the wider Nisbets team
- Own the delivery of project orders, openings, and new accounts.
Capabilities, Skills, and Experience Required:
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
- Previous regional Field Sales experience
- Proven background of winning new business preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated sales skills, particularly in questioning, closing, and strong negotiation.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- An eye for detail and the ability to transfer ideas into reality.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Proficiency in IT, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent customer service, communication (both written and verbal), planning, and organisational skills.
- General level of education, GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
