Customer Support Engineer

As a Customer Support Engineer, you will be hands-on, helping our customers daily with questions and issues to ensure their needs are met and exceeded. At the same time, you’ll get the chance to spend a considerable amount of time hands-on coding as part of the engineering team building the product. This is a position that combines technical expertise, product development, and intense customer engagement.

  • Understand and incorporate customer feedback into design and development decisions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate complex ideas and technical concepts clearly and concisely to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Work independently to manage projects, meet deadlines, and achieve business goals.

Requirements

  • Experience with customer support.
  • Experience with at least one of the following: NodeJS, Express, Python, backend or frontend development.
  • Knowledge of MySQL and database design.
  • Preferred experience in REST API design and development using modern web development frameworks.
  • Debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across the tech stack.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with React and Tailwind CSS for frontend development.
  • Familiarity with WebGL and three.js for 3D graphics programming and rendering.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker for application deployment and management.
  • Experience with AWS-SDK for cloud computing, including experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
  • Experience with 3D modelling would be a big plus.

Salary

  • San Francisco: $70k – $150k
  • London: £30k – £65k
  • Singapore: $55k – $120k
