Starting as a Junior Operations Manager, you will perform a management/supervisory role within our Manufacturing organisations. You'll be part of our team that manufactures high-quality steel products for our demanding customers.
You will deliver roles and projects that will have significant business value. As you progress through the programme, your leadership and personal skills will be developed, and your levels of responsibility will increase as you gain significant on-the-job experience, ensuring the safe operation of our plant and processes.
You will need to be able and prepared to work shifts as required.
What we need to know about you
We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills. Combining your technical knowledge, you'll know how to collaborate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will hold a science, logistics or engineering-based degree. Predominantly learning on the job under the supervision of our Technical/Manufacturing teams, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a practical environment.
We operate in an exciting, fast-paced industry where we support each other; therefore, the ability to manage priorities to tight but achievable timescales is required, alongside the ability to work well as part of a team.
