Applicants are invited for an Admin Assistant/Receptionist to provide support to the Adult Allied Health Professionals Central Appointment Service, delivering on appointment booking and referral management.
Full-time and part-time roles available.
Main duties of the job
- Post holder will be expected to contribute to housekeeping and other office duties as required e.g scanning, printing, photocopying etc.
- The post holder will be expected to book a high volume of appointments in a timely manner via the Liberty phone system.
- The post holder will provide a comprehensive, efficient admin service for the Adult AHP clinical teams
- To provide a high standard of support to Clinical staff.
- To use an electronic referral process (SystmOne) to ensure requests are responded to in a professional, confidential and efficient manner.
- To receive and respond to requests from patients and carers, acute hospitals, GP practices, Social Services and health care agencies.
- To communicate directly with members of the public and other services.
- To abide by Trust policies and procedures
- To deal with incoming and outgoing patients and carers
