We’re now looking for a Cluster Chief Engineer to lead the property maintenance function across two hotel sites. This is a key leadership role, ideal for a hands-on, solutions-driven professional with strong experience in facilities management, people leadership, and capital project delivery in a hospitality environment.

The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
As Cluster Chief Engineer, you’ll oversee the engineering and maintenance operations across two properties, ensuring a high standard of upkeep, safety, compliance and efficiency.
- Lead and develop a team of engineers and maintenance professionals across your hotel cluster
- Ensure all sites are compliant with H&S, legal, and environmental standards
- Plan and implement an effective Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programme
- Manage departmental budgets, monitor costs, and ensure energy efficiency initiatives
- Oversee capital projects and liaise with external contractors as needed
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
- Collaborate with GMs, operational leaders and support functions to deliver consistent property standards
- Be proactive in resolving technical issues and delivering a seamless guest experience
About You: What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a senior property or engineering role, ideally within a multi-site or cluster setting
- Proven people leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop teams
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving and delivering results
- Experience managing capital projects and working with contractors
- Strong understanding of building systems, compliance, and preventative maintenance
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset
