Job Description

We are looking for a Team Member to join our Cash team at our Shared Service Centre based in Glasgow, where you will ensure the accurate allocation of cash received for the Group and that all daily transactions are reconciled in conjunction with the Heathrow Controls Processes. This is an exciting time to join an established team focusing on delivering real benefits to the business, and with the opportunity to grow your career within an organisation with an internationally recognised brand.  

Your role will involve

  • Being accountable for the accurate allocation of all cash received for the Group.
  • Proactively interfacing with the business and customers to resolve any queries relating to cash management, ensuring process compliance.
  • Assisting with the processing of daily income for Heathrow Express.
  • Reconciling daily car parking & other income files to ensure monies received reconciles to what we expect to receive per the online booking systems. 

These skills are essential

  • Intermediate MS Excel as evidenced through working practice or learning.
  • Strong attention to detail.  
  • Highly numerate and literate, with good analytical and organisational skills.
  • Good comprehension of double-entry bookkeeping.

Working location

Your contractual place of work will be the Heathrow Business Services Centre in Glasgow, so you'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to work.  

We also have some hybrid roles with a working approach which offers the opportunity for colleagues to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow.  Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
