Technical skills

- Product Manager Methodologies appropriate for the different phases of the design/development lifecycle. Identifying and meeting user needs through product design, achieved through effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of different disciplines and how they contribute to an effective agile team, such as service design, user research, business analysis, and development.
- Delivery Manager Experience in delivering digital projects and products. Experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity. Experience in matrix-managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Senior Business Analyst Leading the development of BA approaches to solve organisational problems using a range of Business Analyst tools and techniques.
- Working with businesses in agile/ waterfall environments to turn business needs into user stories/documented requirements. Managing relationships with stakeholders across an organisation.
- Business Analyst Experience of using BA approaches, tools and techniques to solve organisational problems. Identifying improvements and efficiencies within business processes.
- Supporting Senior Business Analysts working with business in agile/waterfall environments to turn business needs into user stories/ documented requirements. Experience of cultivating relationships with stakeholders.

Selection process details
This vacancy is using Success Profiles (opens in a new window), and will assess your Behaviours, Experience and Technical skills.
Application and Shortlisting:
The selection panel will assess your application based on your evidence you have provided against the essential criteria as set out in the person specification.
You will also be asked to provide information within the “Employer/Activity History” section of the application form. This information is equivalent to the information you would provide on a CV setting out your career history (this will be used in the sifting process).
Applicants need to submit a single application, which will be considered for their preferred positions. If an applicant does not pass the interview for their first-choice role but meets the required standard, they may be considered for similar roles at a lower grade.
Interviews
Applicants who meet the benchmark at the shortlisting stage will be invited to an online interview, where they will be assessed against a mix of Civil Service behaviours and the experience/technical skills outlined in Section 3 of the job specification.
Interviews will be held during the week commencing Monday 12 May 2025 via Microsoft Teams.
Feedback will only be provided if you attend an interview or assessment.
