Job Description

Volteras is an early-stage, fully funded, clean tech start-up building the future of electric vehicle software.

Who are we looking for

You will have a key role in shaping, scoping and building products for an innovative clean tech company that’s scaling up globally.

As Senior Software Engineer joining the team, you will report directly to our CTO and will have a key role shaping the software engineering culture at Volteras.

The ideal candidate is experienced in managing end-to-end complex software projects and enjoys building and optimising systems.

Technical requirements

  • Extensive experience with API integration, development, testing and security;
  • Extensive experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred);
  • Extensive experience working with databases, data modelling and big data;
  • Experience with batch and streaming processing, real-time applications, event-based architectures and pub/sub patterns (e.g. Kafka);
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows and git best practices;
  • Familiarity with Docker and Terraform;
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog).
