Base salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (£100,000 - Uncapped OTE)

Job Description

Who you are

  • Background: 4+ years of experience in a similar sales role
  • Industry: Automotive, energy or start-up experience
  • Experience: Successful track record in SaaS of selling and closing deals at all organizational levels
  • Work ethic: You are exceptionally ambitious, career-driven and want to excel quickly through hard work
  • Resilience: The willingness to cold-call and the ability to overcome rejection
  • Bonus: you've worked in a data-driven or B2B SaaS company

Desirable

  • Knowledge of electric vehicles, mobility and/or auto insurance markets
  • Previous experience with fleet management/telematics platforms or similar is desirable but not essential
  • Past start-up experience a benefit
  • High level of self-motivation and a desire to learn and grow in the sales function of Volteras
  • Currently live In or near London
  • Have worked in an API, data-driven or technical company before

What the job involves

  • Unique opportunity to work In a pod with the Founding Sales team in an exciting, fast-moving and interesting market.
  • From virtual outreach to in-person events, exploring innovative ways to enhance visibility and engagement with prospects
  • Build relationships with new and existing prospects, drive strategic partnerships, and play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Prospect, qualify, follow up and educate a high volume of cold leads
  • On the whole sales flow end-to-end: build a pipeline, chase leads, close them and own the customer relationship after closing
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors and the overall energy landscape
  • Maximise ROI on marketing efforts: Follow up with attendees of webinars, events, and campaigns to ensure strong conversion into opportunities
  • Contribute to feedback loops with marketing, helping improve campaigns and ensuring alignment between demand generation and sales efforts
