We have an exciting opportunity for an External Engagement and Early Outreach Manager to join our Global Early Careers team!
Our ideal candidate will lead early-in-career talent engagement initiatives through comprehensive market mapping, targeted outreach, and operational excellence. This role focuses on building strong pipelines of emerging talent while driving diversity, inclusion, and impactful engagement strategies across global markets.
Key Responsibilities Strategy
- Conduct in-depth market mapping to identify key early in-career talent pools and emerging market trends.
- Design and execute targeted outreach initiatives aimed at engaging students’ recent graduates and early career professionals.
- Develop and implement diversity strategies to ensure inclusive talent engagement and representation.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in early-in-career talent engagement to ensure the organization remains innovative and competitive in attracting top talent.
Business
- Track return on investment (ROI) for outreach initiatives, leveraging data and analytics to optimize strategies and outcomes.
- Provide budget oversight, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximise impact and ROI.
- Align early talent engagement efforts with long-term workforce needs to build strong talent pipelines.
Processes
- Overseas seasonal project timelines, ensuring seamless planning and execution of early career engagement activities.
- Build strategic partnerships with educational institutions, third parties and student bodies to support engagement and outreach goals.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects to enhance program effectiveness and alignment with broader organizational objectives.
People and Talent
- Train and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Oversee alumni governance programmes to maintain active connections with former early career talent cohorts
Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to outreach and engagement.
- Proactively identify and address challenges or risks associated with early-in-career talent engagement.
- Governance
- Lead global communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across regions, including ASEAN, Asia, India, North America, UK and Europe.
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to build brand presence and credibility in the early-in-carer talent space.
Other
- Proven experience in early career talent engagement, university outreach, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking programme ROI and performance metrics.
- Excellent project management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Demonstrated experience in managing diversity strategies and global communications.
- Proficiency in budget management and strategic planning.
- Experience working across global platforms with an understanding of regional nuances in ASEAN, Asia, India, North America, UK and Europe.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
- External stakeholders will include Career Services, third-party diversity partners, and student societies and bodies.
- Internal stakeholders will include business points of contact such as COOs, business alumni current cohorts and colleagues within HR such as employer branding.
Other Responsibilities
- In addition to the key responsibilities outlined, the External Engagement and Early Outreach Manager may also be expected to contribute to cross-functional projects, represent the organization at industry events and conferences, build strategic partnerships with educational institutions, and stay informed on emerging trends in early-in-career talent engagement to ensure the organization remains innovative and competitive in attracting top talent.
