Relationship Manager Assistant (Invoice Finance)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Invoice team within Virgin Money Business Bank. We provide a wide range of business customers with working capital support to aid cash flow and growth.  You will play a key role in keeping the bank safe and supporting our existing Invoice Finance customers and Invoice Finance Relationship Managers. What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting Invoice Finance Relationship Managers with the onboarding of new Invoice Finance customers.
  • Timely and accurate processing of CHAPS and currency payments and dealing with general administration relating to Invoice Finance facilities.
  • Processing customers month end sales ledger reconciliation returns as part of our wider risk management strategy to keep us safe.  
  • Calculating and updating reserves to ensure accurate funding is available to our customers.
  • Interacting with customers for prompt query resolution.
  • Challenge, improve and streamline existing processes.
  • Handling multiple tasks and prioritising workload.
  • Interacting with various bank teams (Payment Operations & Finance).

We need you to have

  • Experience or knowledge of Invoice Finance Operations.
  • Knowledge of key invoice finance risk areas and debt security. 
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to work as part of a team.
  • Experience in dealing directly with customers.
  • Diligence & accuracy.
  • Be a self-starter, well-organised and able to work independently on complex tasks and deliver high-quality results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced change environment.

It’s a bonus if you have, but not essential

  • Relevant Industry qualifications, e.g., UK Finance Asset Based Lending certification (foundation/certificate level).
  • Good knowledge of Lenvi ‘Riskfactor’ Risk Analytics System.
