About Business Banking and the Visibility & Control Team:
Since its launch four years ago, Monzo Business Banking has been dedicated to delivering the very best of Monzo to small businesses. Today, it's an award-winning service, empowering over 500,000 businesses across the UK. In October, we opened our doors to bigger small businesses, ushering in the next phase of our mission to make money work for businesses.
The Visibility & Control teamâs mission covers two areas. First, to help businesses understand their performance and manage their cash flow effectively by providing useful insights and dashboards. And second, to simplify financial admin, such as accounting, through smart integrations with other platforms. As part of our growth, weâre building a second squad in this space and are looking for a Product Manager to support our ambitious plans and meet the ever-evolving needs of our business customers.
What youâll be doing:Â
- Youâll lead a cross-functional team to design, build and grow products to support our business customers. Youâll do this by building a deep understanding of their needs, as well as what is and isnât possible from commercial, regulatory, operational and technical perspectives. Using this to set a product strategy.
- Youâll communicate effectively with people at all seniority levels. Youâll get people inspired by the product vision and youâll share the right context with the right people at the right time.
- Youâll lead planning processes and associated roadmap prioritisation to get your team working on the highest impact priorities that contribute to wider business goals.Â
- Youâll work iteratively and collaboratively with design, engineering, research, data science, product marketing, compliance and many others to refine your plan and execute it effectively.
Your day-to-day  Â
- Leading workshops with your team to hypothesise solutions to key customer pain points identified in research
- Presenting your latest product strategy to stakeholders at Product Review and gathering feedback and challenge
- Running research calls to better understand how customers run their businesses today, identifying where weâre uniquely placed to help make managing a business easier.
- Researching and understanding market trends, industry best practices, and opportunities for Monzo to pursue
- Breaking down a long-term strategy into clear goals and tracking progress against targets
You should apply if you:
- Have extensive experience shipping successful, customer-centric digital products in a fast-growing company.
- Are passionate about building products that delight customers while driving commercial success.
- Start from first principles, having built products that tackle long-standing customer problems in innovative ways, breaking from industry norms.
- Are data-driven, metrics-focused, and honest about your workâs performance, with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Are creative and capable of teasing out novel ideas and solutions from your team.
- Are comfortable collaborating across design, data, user research, marketing, and engineering disciplines.
- Excel at working with diverse teams and perspectives, thoughtfully challenging and influencing those you work with.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively to a range of audiences, structuring your messages effectively.
- Are a fast learner who is humble, curious, and eager to develop yourself and others.

The interview process:
Our interview process involves 4 main stages:Â
- Recruiter CallÂ
- Initial Call with Hiring ManagerÂ
- Experience Loop, consisting of x3 hour-long interviews to assess Project Walkthrough, Case Study and Leadership.
- Final chat with a member of our leadership team
