Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive is currently searching for a Generalist Banking/DCM Lawyer for a 6-month contract starting in July 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the firms’ leading clients within the financial services industry.

This role has been created to manage an increase in workloads. The successful candidate will be expected to handle a variety of tasks, including BAU activities, to alleviate the workload of the existing Treasury team.

The role will involve supporting general treasury operations. The ideal candidate should be prepared to take a hands-on approach and demonstrate a willingness to tackle a range of tasks.

Key Objectives:

  • Provide advice on general DCM matters
  • Manage internal treasury transactions, programme updates, and activities related to existing securitisations.
  • Utilise your general banking expertise to contribute to various projects.
  • Work independently and efficiently, with the ability to handle excess work.

Person specification:

  • Must be a Qualified Lawyer
  • Experience in DCM, ideally with Treasury Advisory experience
  • You will have excellent communication and time management skills.
  • You can work autonomously but can also collaborate effectively as part of the wider team.
  • You will be required to hold the relevant right to work for the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available via Adaptive.
