Since our inception in 2017, TransferRoom has facilitated over 3,000 transfers for clubs, agents and players worldwide. Presently, more than 650 clubs from over 100 leagues spanning 60+ countries are leveraging our platform to accelerate their success.

TransferRoom is looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to join us on our mission to change the football transfer market for the better. This role will deliver cross-functional leadership for the strategy and execution of TransferRoom events, including a worldwide mix of virtual and in-person events through the year. These events form a core part of the value proposition, enabling a unique, speed-dating format to accelerate professional transfers in the industry.

You will work closely with commercial teams to set objectives and invitation strategy, developing different approaches for awareness, acquisition and existing customer engagement. You will have line manager responsibility for an existing Events Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Single-threaded leader for TransferRoom’s global virtual & in-person events.
  • Seamlessly coordinate between various stakeholders to deliver collective success (Commercial, Marketing, Brand, Finance, Leadership team).
  • Build a multi-year events strategy & establish KPIs, in close collaboration with the Commercial Strategy team.
  • Working with our internal designer to develop TransferRoom event branding.
  • Manage budgets and timelines, delivering ROI vs budget plan.
  • Beyond flagship events, drive our webinar content plan.
  • Drive event sponsorship strategy and goals, partnering with commercial teams.
  • Deliver post-event analysis, employing an iterative, scalable approach to improving future events.
  • Iterate ongoing improvements to event format with the support of stakeholder teams (e.g. Product), driving post-event survey insights and follow throughs.

Skills (Mandatory)

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing / business administration/ related field
  • Experience in B2B Marketing, and specifically end-to-end event management (both for acquisition and existing customer engagement).
  • Adept in project management skills
  • Experience working with marketing tools including email and CRM (such as HubSpot or Salesforce).
  • Experience connecting marketing strategy to ROI metrics
  • Data-driven, experience with A/B testing and other growth experimentation techniques

Skills (Desirable)

  • Direct HubSpot experience
