We do this by empowering football clubs, agents and players to be successful in the transfer market by giving them real-time market intelligence and direct access to a global network of decision-makers.

Since our launch in 2017, clubs have used TransferRoom to facilitate over 3,000 transfers, and we are proud that today over 650 clubs from 60+ countries and 100+ leagues are currently using the platform.

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Enablement Specialist to drive strategic initiatives that optimize the performance and effectiveness of our sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver sales training programs to onboard new hires and upskill existing sales reps to ensure successful integration and proficiency
  • Create and maintain sales training materials and resources
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure training effectiveness
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs and priorities
  • Define and track key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales training initiatives, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements
  • Deliver onboarding bootcamps to all new hires within sales and customer success
  • Lead sales enablement training sessions, workshops and meetings, to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of the sales team
  • Develop and maintain the sales playbooks
  • Foster collaboration and alignment between sales, marketing, product development, and customer success teams to achieve unified sales objectives
  • Analyse sales processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for streamlining, and implementing improvements to drive sales team performance and efficiency
  • Work closely with the customer success team to help improve customer satisfaction/retention
  • Evaluate and optimise the sales technology stack, proposing enhancements to improve productivity, efficiency, and decision-making capabilities

Essential

  • Proven experience in sales training within the SaaS industry
  • Strong understanding of SaaS sales processes, and the ability to tailor training strategies accordingly
  • You will probably have built out a sales training functionality previously, being responsible for aspects such as onboarding, bootcamps (new hires/new products), ongoing training, certification processes etc.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey information and ideas effectively to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in utilising various sales enablement and productivity tools
  • Ability to analyse data and metrics to identify trends, make informed decisions, and continually optimise sales strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, and to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organisation
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other sales tools
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, scaling SME business

Desirable

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Professional certifications in sales training
  • Experience working in a fast-paced SaaS startup/scaleup environment
  • Knowledge of modern learning and development methodologies
  • Previous experience in a sales or sales leadership role would be very beneficial
  • An interest/previous experience in the football industry

  • New hire ramp-up time to "productivity"
  • Ramp-up time and time to value for new products launches
  • Improvement in sales team performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, quota attainment).
  • Training completion rates
  • Sales performance improvements attributed to training initiatives
  • Feedback and satisfaction scores from sales team members
