About the Role
We are seeking two dynamic and dedicated Careers coaches to join our innovative and progressive Student Development team at NTU. This role is pivotal in designing and delivering comprehensive career development learning within the curriculum and providing 121 coaching to students across multiple schools.
You will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging career and employability workshops, alongside facilitating 121 coaching appointments that are tailored to the needs of the student cohort. You will help students to reflect on their experiences, explore their career options and set achieveable career goals that help them to develop their employability and overall career readiness.
We work in a hybrid way with some of our meetings and delivery online, however, the majority of your delivery will be on campus so willingness to travel to all campuses is essential.
About you:
If you are passionate about innovative approaches to student delivery and enjoy variety in your work – then this could be for you!
You will need excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a broad range of students. As you will work across multiple schools you must be well organised and able to work flexibly, adapting your style to different student groups.
1-1 careers guidance is a key part in this role, so you must hold or be working towards an appropriate careers guidance qualification or equivalent coaching qualification.
The role will require you to work closely with a range of internal stakeholders, so the ability to build effective working relationships and work collaboratively is a must.
For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly, however it is essential for you to meet the qualification requirements for the role.
